Local paintball team Dynamix took first place in Division One at the World Cup event, in Malaysia
This is the first time that a South African team has been able to win the event.
The World Cup, which took place between November 14 and 17, saw 158 teams take part in different divisions, with Division One being the highest, where the top 14 teams competed against each other.

The team have been described as “model ambassadors for South Africa” by their overseas rivals after their world-conquering performance.
Team Dynamix consisted of eight players aged between 16 and 38.
The members of the team are Craig Marley (Cape Town), Phillip Uys (Pretoria), Stefan Smuts (Benoni), Shaun Leighton (Benoni), Yashin Naran (Johannesburg), Thabo Rhapiri (Boksburg), George Hunter (Boksburg) and Jax Klopper (Boksburg).
