He says that on Tuesday, November 3, the traffic volumes on the freeways were very slightly less than normal, but the side roads did not show any dramatic change from the norm.

“It is probably still early for the impact to be evident,” he adds.

“l will continue monitoring the traffic volumes over the next few weeks, in order to determine the effects of e-tolling on the traffic patterns, as well as on the traffic flows on both our freeways and side roads.”
