Keep the 5c donations coming
Many of us usually have a whole bunch of 5c and 10c pieces lying in our wallets and, when they build up, we regularly discard them into a bowl at home or into a piggy bank we will never use.
But, there is something else you can do with those unwanted cents – support our local SPCA, and donate those unwanted brown and gold coins to help them make it through the month.
The SPCA is in desperate need of funding, and even though they are grateful to those who always help them keep afloat, they are asking everyone to assist them in making a small dent in their account to keep the animals they attend to fed and healthy.
The SPCA thanks everyone who has donated their 5c and 10c coins to the cause and would like to remind people that the coins can either be taken to the society’s office, in Railway Street, Boksburg, or can be collected from you if you are unable to bring it to them.
