According to spokesperson for the Dawn Park Police Station, W/O David Rafanyane, the male driver and female passenger in the one vehicle were certified dead on the scene by the paramedics.
“The driver of the vehicle who is said to have caused the collision, was allegedly under the influence, and has been apprehended. A case of culpable homicide has been opened and the accused has appeared in court on Tuesday, July 30,” says Rafanyane.
The survivors are being treated in hospital for serious injuries, and the case is still under investigation.
