Wilbers on fire at fitness provincials
She has also qualified for the South African Championships which takes place on Saturday (September 8).
Sunward Park fitness personality Penny Wilbers was recently crowned Gauteng champion during the IBFF Fire and Ice provincials event in Kempton Park.
Wilbers flourished in her over-40 category which gained her qualification for Italy next month.
This will see the fitness model return to Europe in a space of four months since being crowned world champion at the IBFF World Championship in Brežice, Slovenia in June.
“Every time I win is an absolute blessing. Winning always feels absolutely amazing. Hard work always pays off. I just do my best every single time,” said Wilbers.
