Local fitness bikini model named Biogen brand ambassador
Boksburg fitness bikini model Cindy Willemse has been named the new brand ambassador for Biogen health and sports nutrition.
The six-month deal, which will require the model to promote and help further build the brand among other duties, effectively began on June 1.
Biogen spotted Willemse at a recent bodybuilding competition held in Durban, where she was picked as one of two athletes to take up the opportunity from the sports nutrition company.
This comes just a few weeks after she was chosen as the new face of Xtyle Fitness following an impressive showing at the IFBB Millennium Gold Plate bodybuilding event in Kempton Park.
“I’d like to thank Biogen for putting their trust in me as an athlete, and giving me the privilege for affiliating with their brand and promoting their brand,” she said.
“I’m humbled by them choosing me as their ambassador, they could have chosen anyone. I’m going to give my 500 per cent commitment to the brand.
“I feel enthusiastic to be a big part of Biogen, there are so many new products coming, I’m excited to help people and share information with the end users,” she said, before acknowledging her support structure which included Jolene Levinson from Tweak, her coach Lance Jacobson from 180 Degrees, her family, friends as well as Renier Weideman.
