Barnstormers to host a model air show

Barnstormers Model Flying Club will host an air show on Sunday, June 28.

The club promises plenty of action in the sky and lots of fun on the ground for young and old.

Supporters are urged to come in their numbers to support the event, in the name of fun.

Food and beverages will be on sale. There will also be exciting prizes and lucky draws.

Some of South Africa’s top model aircraft will be on show; from the very smallest models to giant scale craft, as well as turbine jets.

Gates open at 9am and flying starts at 10am.

Directions:

From the R21 highway, take the R25 Tembisa/Bronkhorstspruit off-ramp and head towards Bronkhorstspruit for around 4km, passing Serengeti on your right. Just after the railway bridge you will cross a set of “rumble strips” on the road. Take the very first sand road to your left.
