Ndlovu wins 32km Colgate Road Race

Don Ndlovu beat thousands of other hopefuls to clinch first prize in the 32km 2015 Colgate Road Race, in a time of 1:46:20 minutes, on Sunday, May 3.

The visibly excited Soweto resident said he was well prepared for the race, having taken part in it previously, when he ran the 15km route.

Frans Mola finished second, in a time of 1:46:57, with Africa Mailola third, in 1:49:32.

Salome Cooper won the women’s open section in 2:18:10, with Seipati Peu second in 2:21:15 and Enie Molatseli third, in 2:22:00.

A total of 1 600 athletes finished the 32km race and 2 800 the 15km route.
