Third time a charm for ace Samantha
Parkrand Tennis Complex player Samantha Jonhsnon has earned her third selection to represent the national u-19 school tennis team.
The St. Dominic’s matriculant has slammed her way into the top 30 national rankings, which has seen her selected to represent the country in the upcoming Schools Team Tournament in the UK this month.
She represented the country back in 2012 as part of the u-14 side that toured Malaysia and again as an u-15, where she visited England.
She is also a member of the Gauteng East Junior Tennis Programme.
A statement from Gauteng East Tennis read: “We wish Sam and her teammates a successful tour in England and hope the exposure to international-level matches not only improves their game but inspires them to greater challenges in the future.”
