The entertainment resort enrolled its staff members into three different learnership programmes in 2014.
In keeping with Emperors Palace’s commitment to uplift and assist its employees to acquire new skills and develop themselves, the programmes are aimed at different levels of management and chefs.
Among the 17 junior and middle management staff members who graduated with a Further Education and Training Certificate in Generic Management Level Four, were Aadilah Rhoda of Boksburg and Pearl Mpete of Vosloorus.
A further 14 senior to middle management employees obtained their Further Education and Training Certificate in Generic Management Level 5.
In this group were Boksburg’s Cheryl Clarke, Thabisile Dlamini, Adrian Earp and Oscar Sithole.
The Class of 2014 remainder achieved National Certificates in Professional Cookery Level Four, which has set them on a path to becoming recognised chefs after learning more about food preparation, understanding menu planning, food costing and the dynamics of the industry.
