SAB League: Bolivia trounce United
Bolivia Football Club emerged as convincing winners of their SAB League match against Sun United, with a 4-1 triumph at Reiger Park’s WJ Clements Stadium, on Saturday, February 28.
The travelling Bolivia took full advantage of the host’s sloppy defending and benefited from two own goals from United.
“It was a practically even match, but mistakes by our defenders cost us,” said United’s owner, Clyde Nelson.
“The score wasn’t a true reflection of the game, but Bolivia were the better team on the day.”
Next for United is a trip to Sunward Park, for a meeting with Diamba RS Academy, on Saturday, March 7. Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm.
