World Aids Day: Know your status at St Francis Care Centre

The St Francis Care Centre will be mobilising and testing people for HIV/Aids, high blood pressure, diabetes, and order TB screening tests at 9am to 11am tomorrow, December 2.

This campaign is in line with World Aids Day and forms part of the new HCT special mobilisation outreach programme, which started in September this year.

HIV/Aids related pamphlets will be available to anyone wanting more information on these diseases.

The Centre will also be educating people on HIV/Aids and TB and raise awareness.

All testing is free of charge and anyone is welcome.

“It is important for people to know their status,” says programme manager, Sibongile Masile.

Thereafter, the Centre will have a march for HIV and Aids in Ramaphosa, from Eagle Street to the taxi rank, where they will also have a stall to test people and provide information.

The march will start at noon. Anyone is welcome to join the march. – @IschkeBoksburg
