Concern over squatters in park

A concerned resident approached the Advertiser complaining that her children could no longer play at the park.

“The squatters are urinating on the wall and littering,” she complains.

Acting metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe says an inspection was conducted at the park.

“It was found that there were indeed squatters at the park closely situated next to the nursery school adjacent to park. This matter will be brought to the attention of the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department to assist with removing the illegal tenants,” says Gadebe.- @TumeloBoksburg
