Dance studio wins gold
Two dance groups from Wilma’s Studio of Dance, in Boksburg, each won gold medals at the recent Talent Africa Nationals, in Roodepoort.
One of the groups, which performed “Thriller”, scooped gold in the hip-hop category, with the second group winning the disco jazz category, for their “Poison” performance.
With their respective wins, the two groups have qualified for the international competition, which will be held in New York, later this year.
