Coerver Coaching to host free soccer training sessions
Coerver Coaching SA will hold free soccer coaching sessions for children aged between six and 18 at the East Rand Italian Club in Boksburg, on Saturday, May 17.
The initiative, which will run from 11am to 1pm, will provide young talent a rare opportunity of being exposed to expert technical coaching, as well as interactive video presentations which lead to what is hoped to be the turning point in young footballers’ careers.
This is an opportunity to realise that through hard work, dedication and expert guidance, the skills of the world’s greatest players are definitely achievable.
Coerver Coaching is a global football coaching programme inspired by the teachings of UEFA Cup winner, Wiel Coerver, and was created in 1984 by Alfred Galustian and Chelsea great, Charlie Cooke.
Currently involved with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Newscastle to name a few, the Adidas-sponsored method has been promoted by global stars of the beautiful game such as Arjen Robben, Daniel Surridge and Gareth Bale.
Any parties interested can attend the free training session, which will accommodate both girls and boys. Former Bafana Bafana and PSL star Phil Evans, and former Witbank Aces player Shaune Hatton will lead the coaching.
