Security guards use false identity to commit crime

Three security guards have been arrested on two cases of fraud after they were found to be using false names and identity documents to obtain work.

According to Boksburg North Police spokesperson Lieut Juanita Coetzer, this comes after the stations detectives were investigating two armed robberies that took place at two different companies in Jet Park.

“On April 12 and 14, while investigating armed robberies that took place, detectives found that the guards that were on duty at the times of the robberies used false names and identity documents to obtain work. Their papers and qualifications were all false,” says Coetzer.

Coetzer says the station, therefore, calls on all security company representatives to attend the next meeting to address current problems that exist.

Details of the next meeting will be announced.
