Contrasting starts for local rivals in ELFA kick-off
Boksburg’s premier team were awarded two goals and the points for a win in their Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) game against Gold 1 Aces.
This match was scheduled to take place at the Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg on Saturday, April 5, but it was found Aces at the time had not been fully registered with the association.
Boksburg sit in third position after the first round of matches, behind Bonaero and leaders LK Stars who both have a superior goals difference.
CBC Old Boys had a contrasting start to their local neighbours after suffering a 1-0 away loss to Olympia.
They sit in sixth spot on the log following the defeat.
