Shianne named Sportswoman of the Year
Barefoot water-skier Shianne Addinall was named Ekurhuleni’s Junior Sportswoman of the Year at a splendour sports awards ceremony at Birchwood Hotel on Friday evening, March 14.
Shianne edged out u-17 South African team ringball players Alison Allan and Verochka Els for the award.
This follows her election as the European and African 2013 Female Skier of the Year.
She is currently ranked as the second best junior and fifth best skier overall in the world.
