Flash mob psych crowd up for Irish festival
St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching, and the only place to be is Emperors Palace for the Irish Festival.
To promote the Luck of the Irish Festival, dancers were secretly hired and a flash mob took place right in front of the eyes of those who were present at Emperors Palace on Saturday, February 22.
A group of young girls and women performed an Irish dance around the David statue inside the Palace, whilst cheering on the crowd to not miss out on the festivities that will be taking place the weekend of March 14, 15 and 16.
This exciting festival will be a feast of food, laughter, song and dance, to keep lads, ladies and leprechauns partying well into the night.
In keeping with the traditions of the Emerald Isle, authentic Irish entertainment has been lined up for the entire festival – with a South African twist.
The three-day Luck of the Irish Festival will be a whirl of Irish escapades and Celtic fun, and is definitely the place to be.
Visit the festival’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/luckoftheirishsa for plenty of information on what to expect during the festival, costume ideas, and some exciting giveaways.
