Krisstofferson live in the East
Kriss Kristofferson will be heading for SA shores soon, and will be performing at the Carnival City, Big Top Arena, on March 22.
He is a Country Music Hall of Famer who ranks among the most versatile of American talents.
He’s been a Golden Gloves boxer, a Rhodes scholar, a college football player, an acclaimed actor, a military officer, a helicopter pilot, a Grammy-winner, an icon and, until March 2014, a South African tour virgin.
A long-time collaborator with Johnny Cash, Kristofferson’s 1971 song about The Man in Black, The Pilgrim, Chapter 33, inspired the scene in Taxi Driver.
At 77, Kristofferson has acted in 119 films and TV shows and has released 28 albums, including his most recent, Feeling Mortal.
