Kruger set for middleweight title bout in February

Kruger would be particularly interested in what will be one of the biggest matches of the night between Gareth “Soldier Boy” McLellan and Jeremy “Pitbull” Smith.

They will battle it out for the middleweight title.

The winner will take on Kruger in a title match next February at EFC 28.

The man from Boksburg will be leaving the country for Thailand in December to begin preparations for his title fight as part of his XKT training camp. He will return to our shores late January.

When asked about the trip, Kruger said a fighters group called “We Are Grappling Springs Rio” will be joining him on the plane to the Asian country.
