EFC Africa 23 promises hardcore MMA action
Fighters are ready for EFC Africa 23 at the Carnival City Big Top Arena on Thursday, September 12.

Fans will be spoiled with 13 bouts, including two championship fights, which will see heavyweight champion Andrew van Zyl defend his title for the first time against kickboxing behemoth Sors “Guru” Grobbelaar.
In the other championship fight, Michiel Opperman will be defending his welterweight title against former British and Commonwealth Muay Thai champion Dino “The Lion” Bagattin.
EFC 23 also includes the long-awaited, highly anticipated battle between fan favourite Boyd Allen and controversial Durbanite Wesley Hawkey.
This promises to be a big one.
In addition, talented fighters Francois Groenewald and Craig Nino do battle in the featherweight division.
K1 world champion Dircus du Plessis returns for what he has called “the chance to lay down a real beating” against Takedown Academy debutant Bruno Makhulu, just to name a few.
With six hours of non-stop MMA action from the best in the continent in store, fans are urged to get their tickets and popcorn ready.
