Lions want to improve your eyesight
The Boksburg Lions Club has started a project called "Lions Operation Brightsight" aimed at assisting underprivileged people with eyesight disorders.

According to Tony Noris, former president of the club, the Lions have found that thousands of people on the East Rand have eye problems.
“We aim to give better sight and a better life to thousands of the underprivileged people in our communities,” says Noris.
This service is provided at a reasonable cost. Instead of paying thousands of rands for an eye test and a pair of spectacles, you can obtain two pairs of spectacles for only R200.
Any person that cannot afford to obtain specs through normal channels is eligible for spectacles through the Lions’ project.
School children that want to benefit from the project may phone James van Heerden on 082 291 7564.
Adults and pensioners may phone Tony Noris on 082 390 9503.
