Watch: Not just a police officer, but a poet as well

Jordaan made his mark at several police stations in the metro, including Boksburg Police Station, Boksburg North detective branch and Reiger Park detective branch.

Lt Col André Jordaan from Boksburg South is a crime-fighting cop by day and a poet by night.

Jordaan, who is a detective branch commander at the Primrose detective branch, is no stranger to Boksburg.

He has been living in Boksburg since he moved to South Africa from Namibia in the ’80s.

The Advertiser caught up with him to learn more about the Sherlock Holmes and his writing.

Q: Where can people read your stories?
