Skewed wall at Dawn Park SAPS poses danger
The wall which looks like it’s going to fall anytime was apparently built many years ago.
The Advertiser recently noticed an unsteady wall at Dawn Park police station.
The wall poses a risk to the officers and community who make use of the services at the police station on a daily basis.
A notice has been placed at the wall which reads, “Do not park or stand here, this wall is falling”.
Dawn Park police spokesperson Const Nkemeleng Mabula said: “We are aware of the of the skewed wall and taking necessary precautions, we have since put notices that people must not park their vehicles next to the wall or lean against it.”
Mabula further highlighted the department of Public Works who are responsible to fix the wall, are aware and they’ll be giving it necessary attention soon.
