Chain of Hope throws its support behind Saints Network
Chain of Hope is a NPO from Boksburg that connects with the community through a range of a community-oriented services.
In their ongoing efforts to make a difference in the community, Chain of Hope recently collaborated with Saints First Responders Service.
Saints Network is a group of qualified voluntary first-aiders, medics and paramedics with an intense passion for preserving lives and helping people in crisis at little or no cost to the public.
The Saints Network’s mission is to provide a professional and semi-professional first responder service for trauma and medical emergencies to the local communities at no or little cost to the patient, closing the gap between the occurrence of an incident or event and the arrival of EMS ambulance and/or paramedics on scene.
This does not only provide a fast, smooth and effective handover, but ensure better resource management by providing the correct information at the time of the call to the dispatch resulting in the correct unit(s) being dispatched first time.
According to Rose-Marie Herbst from Chain of Hope, they are now in need of the community’s support to help them expand and continue their good work.
“Our aim is to grow and continue to grow to become the nationally known brand you can rely on to provide the fastest, best, professional and semi-professional emergency medical service possible.
“As a volunteer organisation, Saints relies solely on donations to keep functioning. The funds are used for fuel, vehicle maintenance and equipment, among other. Saints welcomes all kinds of donations, be it tools or petrol. Companies are more than welcome to become involved as well.
“The service is available for everyone. It brings the volunteers joy to be able to assist in an emergency and make a difference to those in need of support.”
She added that Siants, like Johan Fourie, is passionate about helping people.
The main purpose and vision of Chain of Hope are to bring back hope and to help restore dignity to members of society who have been affected by severe economic circumstances.
