Help those with a sight defect by ordering your Lions Christmas cakes
Remember, your support will go a long way towards making the lives of patients with eye problems tolerable.
The Boksburg Lions Club has opened its important annual Christmas cake project to help those who suffer from sight defect to regain sight.
The delicious cakes, weighing 1kg, are available at R115 each.
According to Lion James van der Merwe, although the club is involved in a number of charity initiatives, annually, the profit made from the sale of the cakes goes towards the club’s sight programme.
“Last year we managed to make R11 600 profit from the sale of cakes and that money went back into community projects to help people who are sight-impaired,” said van der Merwe.
Van der Merwe thanks the community for their continued support.
