Robbers plunder Pep Store in the Boksburg CBD

Below are some of the robberies recently reported to the Boksburg police:

 

On May 27, in daylight, a gang of robbers made off with an undisclosed number of brand-new cellphones and an amount of money during an armed robbery at the Pep store on Commissioner Street, Boksburg CBD.

The employee told the police that the thugs stormed the store and demanded both money and the cellphones at gunpoint.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

* A Comet man was robbed of his hard-earned money during a home invasion in Comet, New Married Quarters.

The resident told the police that he was home on May 26 when two men, described as black males, arrived and demanded money. They stole R600 in cash.

* A gang of thieves assaulted and tied up security guards at a business located corner of Aberdeen and Van Dyk Road, Boksburg industrial area, and stole a computer and cellphone on May 29.

One of the guards was hit in the head and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
