The Reiger Park police destroyed 65 cases of beer seized during separate raids on unlicensed taverns on Thursday, May 16.
The booze was confiscated from different communities within the Reiger Park SAPS policing precinct over the past few weeks.
The police still maintain alcohol is the largest contributing factor to antisocial behaviour.
Reiger Park police have taken a no-nonsense approach to those who trade in liquor without valid licences.
France Lekola (groundsman), Capt Zakhele Dladla (Vispol commander) and Sgt Clifford Mongwe were among the officers who took part in the latest alcohol disposal.
