Child allegedly sexually violated by her neighbour

The Boksburg police are investigating a case of sexual assault after a child was reportedly sexually violated by her neighbour.

According to Boksburg SAPS spokesperson Const Ntsako Ledwaba the sexual abuse claims came to light on February 26.

This is after the mother found her daughter hiding in the neighbour’s shack in Jerusalem informal settlement.

“When the mother asked her daughter as to why she was hiding in the shack, the child said the man next door invited her to his shack where he kissed and penetrated her private part,” said Ledwaba.
