Germiston outlasted the Boksburg Football Club in their u-17 Eastern Super League match at Prince George Park on May 6.
With the fiercely contested affair going into the half-time break with the two sides deadlocked at 2 all, the visitors had one more goal in them and found the breakthrough which proved to be the decisive goal.
In form forward Eli Holster and defender Jordan Cooper kept the Blues alive in the game.
Blues coach Ernest Seforo described the contest as very tough and competitive.
