Twelve wheelchairs donated to those in need

The centre is an NPO and they run a daycare centre for children with disabilities.

Juan and Nadine Smith of The Little Miracles Development Centre, with the help of Roman’s Pizza, donated 12 wheelchairs to children with disabilities on April 23.

The centre is situated on Rolls Royce Street, Impala Park.

They are also running a wheelchair donation project where they approach companies to assist with funds through its corporate social responsibility.

Children in need of wheelchairs, and who cannot afford them, are then identified.

The wheelchairs are custom fitted and donated on behalf of the company donating.
