Tukkies welcomed East Rand United to the big league in a harsh manner as the Pretoria outfit ran their Reiger Park opponents ragged in a 78-5 mauling.

The meeting was a Carlton League match which took place at the LC de Villiers Sports Ground on Saturday, March 3.

Elsewhere, the Boksburg Rugby Club’s season preparations took a setback when hosts Germiston Simmer cancelled the scheduled meeting between the two clubs.
