Swim school hosts fun gala
Lifeguards were present in the water in case of emergency. Every child received a medal.
The KC Swim School in Witkoppie Ridge recently held its annual gala, which kicked off with synchronised swimming.
The rest of the gala then followed, with the first race being the freestyle and then the breaststroke. The ultimate race saw the young participants swimming in their pyjamas.
The children also got a chance to cheer their parents on in the parents’ race – some grandparents even joined in.
“We teach the kids more than just swimming, we teach them pool safety and what to do in an emergency,” said instructor Karolina Annandale.
