SA Open to deliver thrilling action
Who is going to walk away with the title this year?
Acting mayor of Ekurhuleni Lesiba Mpya teed off this morning to officially mark the 107th edition of the SA Open golf championship at the Glendower Golf Club this morning.
This year’s tournament is dubbed “The Boys Are Back”.
The SA Open was won last year won by Graeme Storm.
It is again hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni and features the likes of Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Trevor Immelman.
“We have seen dozens of different quality players winning the SA Open over the years, however, with the theme ‘The Boys Are Back’, we are sending a clarion call to our South African players to raise the bar and show the whole world what we are really capable of,” said the acting mayor.
