Power supply to be fully restored in Jet Park
Following week-long repair work at Yaldwyn Substation in Boksburg, the Ekurhuleni metro is pleased to announce that all repair work to the damaged electrical equipment has been completed.
According to metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe, the testing of the newly installed equipment is completed and power supply will be gradually restored to customers today (October 16) between midday and 4pm.
The repair work comes after a fire broke out on Monday, last week (October 9), at the substation which interrupted power supply in Jet Park and surrounding areas of Boksburg.
The Ekurhuleni metro thanks all affected customers for their patience while repair work was underway.
