Vosloorus trio shines in chess
Ekurhuleni Chess recently announced its squad for the nationals, which includes three aspiring players from Vosloorus.
The SA champs are scheduled to take place between January 3 and 12 at the Birchwood Hotel.
The Vosloorus trio is Blessing Hlongwane, Thato Mokwena and Kamogelo Mphela.
According to Ekurhuleni Chess, there are high hopes for the u-8 team to win this year, signalling an exciting future for local chess.
