Local boxers star at Gauteng Champs

Local boxers received their colours following outstanding performances during the Gauteng Boxing Championships in Alberton over the weekend of August 4 and 5.

The triumvirate of Cayden Webb from the Samlin Boxing Club in Boksburg, Aston Holl and Kyle Heunis, both from Thunder Boxing Club, Boksburg, won gold.

Dillon van Aswegen (Samlin), Chantelle Erasmus (Brakpan), Tsepang Mashilane and Dwayne du Toit received silver.

All the medalists will be heading to the South African Championships which will take place in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal between October 3 and 6. – @SabeloBoksburg
