United registers first league win
East Rand United prop forward Saki Klaas dotted down twice as United registered its first league win of the season in an away match against North-West University on Saturday, May 20.

It was a comprehensive bonus-point win by Stephan Nel’s men, who crossed the whitewash a total five times to come away as 41-20 victors from Vanderbijl Park.
Dirk van Wyk, Clayton Gindan and Tiaan Ramat joined Klaas in the try-scoring stat with team kicker Cameron Lentoor converting four times and slotting over a solo penalty.
United were also handed a penalty try.
The victory saw United’s premier team hand the hosts a similar tune as United’s u-21s ran NWU out of the gym earlier in the day with a humiliating 10-try, 61-0 rout.
