Honing the skills of local gymnasts

The Boksburg Gym and Tumbling Club caters for both boys and girls and offers gymnastics and tumbling classes from pre-school, remedial all the way up to national competition levels.

Formerly known as the Sunward Park High School Gymnastics Club, as founded in 1989, the club was renamed in 1995.

In the year 2000, the club lost everything when its location surroundings, the Comet Indoor Centre got burnt down, forcing owners to start all over again.

Fast forward 17 years later, the club doesn’t just sharpen gymnastics and tumbling skills, but is also making a difference in the community.

It currently supports six underprivileged children from the local community.

Gymnastics and tumbling competition season is between June and September.

The Boksburg Gym and Tumbling Club currently boasts just over 200 athletes and 10 coaches.

Training is between Monday and Friday in the afternoons and evenings.
