The complainant was resting in his house when he suddenly heard a window breaking.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Juanita Coetzer, he found a suspect, who threatened to stab him, in his house and tried to defend himself with a stick.
“The suspect grabbed the complainant’s cellphone and wallet and left the scene through the broken window.”
The incident occurred this year, in October.
An identikit was compiled of the alleged suspect.
He is an African male in his late 30s, dark in complexion and well built.
He spoke in English to the complainant and was wearing black pants and a black jacket.
The suspect was carrying a knife and was very aggressive.
