The Rock to wrap up season’s racing action
It’s the last chance for all oval drivers, as they wrap up the 2016 season.
The renowned Rock Raceway circuit will come alive with high octane power as all the favourite drivers prepare to hotfoot it around the 400m circuit in their respective disciplines on November 12.
The day promises plenty of V8 action, with the outlaw V8 sprints set to roar around the circuit for the ultimate first prize.
A host of oval saloon classes will also be racing, including the 1600 stock rods, modified saloons, pinto classes and super saloons.
Open wheelers will include the Kids in Racing SA ninja kids, aged three to 12; 100cc micro midgets, 125cc karts and Formula 2 midgets.
Adrenaline-pumping high speed action from Formula N circuit cars will also keep you glued to your seat, as the saloon drivers jostle for positions around the tricky circuit.
Petrol heads are urged to come in their numbers to support their favourite drivers.
Drag racing will be featured at the circuit on Sunday, November 13. The action begins at 4pm, and gates open at 2pm. Car clubs are welcome to join in the action.
Sufficient food and refreshments will be on sale at the circuit on both days.
Gates open at 10am and racing begins at 4pm.
