Mass ride brings cheer to SPCA
The Ekurhuleni SPCA held its annual animal run to raise money for the organisation, on Sunday, August 31.
The event kicked off at 9am at the Edenvale Checkers-Hyper, and all participants including hundreds of bikers travelled to the Boksburg City Stadium, where most of the day’s activities took place.
These included a trophy for the biggest club, a flea market, a beer tent, food stalls, a motorbike raffle, 100 lucky draw prizes, and a park-and-sell-your-bike-opportunity and other activities.
People attended in their numbers to support the initiative, with others donating cash, pet food and blankets.
