Cheerleaders perform well at nationals
Boksburg cheerleading teams, Dynamic All Stars and Turbulence, recently competed at the nationals, in Polokwane.
Dynamic All Stars competed in the semi-finals on July 5, and made it to the finals, which were held the following day.
They competed in the high school cheerleading category and placed sixth against the top eight teams of all the provinces. A total of 14 teams entered the competition.
Turbulence competed in the tertiary category, in the finals on July 6, placing second.
Next year, the nationals will be held in Cape Town.
