House Otto to stage a fundraising wheelchair dash

House Otto will host a Wheelchair Dash fund-raising event in the Checkers Hyper (Rondebult Road) parking lot, on Saturday, March 5.

House Otto is a self help centre for those with physical disabilities or who suffer from quadriplegia/paraplegia on a permanent basis.

The requirements for those who wish to enter in the dash is a R1 000 per team entrance fee (private and company entries), one self-supplied standard wheelchair (pimped out/decorated) and four team members (men and woman aged 16 years or older).

Prizes will also be on offer for the team with the best pimped wheelchair.

Food and refreshments will be on sale and a flea market will be staged.

All the proceeds of entries will go to House Otto.

Registration for entrants will be at 9am and the dash is scheduled to start at around 10am.
