SPCA needs your helping hands rebuild the shelves in the cattery

The Boksburg SPCA is calling on a handyman who is willing to donate his time to rebuild the shelves in the cattery.

According to SPCA manager Maggie Mudd, the shelves are not very steady and the wobbliness poses a danger to the cats, as they could injure themselves.

She assumes that the brackets used by the previous builder aren’t long and strong enough.

“The upgrades in the cattery have been ongoing for months and should have been done long ago, but, unfortunately, we went through a few obstacles which caused a backlog,” she explained.

If you want to take up this challenge, contact the society on 011 916 5906/7, or visit their offices in Railway Street.
