The incident happened in Phefumoloha Street in Windmill Park at around 9pm, last night (August 25).
Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said their paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man with a serious gunshot wound.
“He was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital,” said Steinman.
The Dawn Park SAPS could not be reached for confirmation.
