Newly-crowned Absa Premiership champions Kaizer Chiefs will conclude their record-breaking season as the league reaches its final round this weekend when they travel to Port Elizabeth for a meeting with Chippa United.

Having broken Mamelodi Sundowns’ league points record of 65 by beating Sundowns, the Amakhosi, who currently sit on 66 points, will look to extend their own record with a win over a Chippa outfit struggling for survival at the base of the log.
Sundowns, who’ve cemented their runner-up spot ahead of Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits, set the mark of 65 points last term – the highest since the PSL became a 16-team league at the start of 2002/03 – as they powered their way to their sixth League title.

Sunday, May 10. Chelsea v Liverpool, Stamford Bridge. Start time: 5pm
Jose Mourinho has brought back the English title to Stamford Bridge. The Blues had to wait a long time to hoist the title having last won it in 2010. Their clash with Liverpool remains the standout fixture in England this weekend despite it being a dead rubber – for one side at least. With the title secured with three games to spare, it’ll be interesting to see how Chelsea line-up against Brendon Rodgers’ side who are chasing bitter rivals Manchester United for the last Champions League spot. The Reds trail United by four points, but could fall further behind should United win or draw their battle with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
My prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool
