Alberton dominates at Ekurhuleni Bowls Fours Championships
Alberton Bowling Club (ABC) enjoyed a golden outing during the final round of the Ekurhuleni Bowls Fours Championships held at the Boksburg Bowling Club (BBC) on Sunday, November 30.
The club scooped the winner’s medal in both the finals of the women’s and men’s fours.
The Delville Germiston Bowling Club claimed the runner-up spot in the men’s final with ABC clinching the silver medal finish in the women’s final.
The Championships took place through Ekurhuleni and were finalised at the BBC.
Teams:
* Men’s winners: Alberton – Tienie Gerber, Scott Blyth, Johann Venter and Louw van der Vyver.
* Men’s runner-up: Delville Germiston – Mike Esmonde-White, Andrew Barrow, Pedri de Villiers and Sarel Kruger.
* Women’s winners: Alberton – Ellie van Coller, Lisa Smit, Trudy Beytel and Mary Egan.
