According to Dawn Park Police spokesperson Charles Tshabalala, a plus-minus 20-year-old was shot by an unknown assailant and suffered flesh wounds to his shoulder.
“The victim does not want to give us any information and also does not want to be treated in hospital as he is afraid for his life,” says Tshabalala.
Tshabalala speculates that the victim might be afraid for the safety of his life and his family’s if he is known as a whistle-blower within the gang rings.
